About the Book

Being associated with this beautiful Indian Classical Dance form ‘Odissi’ for a decade now, I observed that there are more texts required specifically to the syllabus of Odissi in various institutes. Hence, presenting series of books on Odissi for helping students to learn and know more about this dance form.

About the Author
While learning Odissi for a decade, Sneha has performed on many national and international platforms. She has Senior Diplomas in both Odissi and Hindustani Vocal Music. Professionally, she is a Computer Science Engineer, graduated from HBTI, Kanpur. She started learning Odissi Indian Classical form after setting herself in a corporate job. She loves learning, performing, writing about dance, yoga, nutrition, anatomy etc. Multiple injuries during her dance journey have inspired her to learn about correct technique and its relation to anatomy. Hence she did ACE GFI certification and attended AFC Conventions in Bangkok, to understand the human body better. She is a regular Yoga Practitioner. She also works as a convener of the Delhi Odissi Study circle. She runs her own website “www.nrityasana.com”.
