Coming after the Song Divine Gita and the teachings of Vidura, the preachings of Bhisma are the culminating pieces of sermons in the Mahabharata epic encapsulating good and noble thoughts about moral ethics and personal as well as public conduct. It is fit to be prescribed for and read by all parliamentarians and legistators as well as ministers, judges and public servants.Hence this Bhisma Gita. For fuller studies full Samskrta texts have been oincluded and for non-Hindi readers in India and abroad Roman renderings of the Samskrta verses have been given alongside.
